Meet the Committee!

The faces behind the planning and preparations!

Kevin Rush

Chairman

I have been in all aspects of the Carnival from participant, to volunteer, to committee to Chair, totalling over 10 years of involvement.  I love seeing Andover come together, and the smiling faces from young and old is what motivates me to try more, try bigger and try better.
My responsibility is to oversee the team but my passion is with the Procession and I can be found on Carnival Day bringing up the rear with the last collection bucket of the parade!

Darren Winter

Vice Chair

&

Procession Team

I joined the carnival in 2019 as a volunteer and really wanted to get involved with the committee. I love the carnival and supporting our community is something that means a lot to me. I oversea the procession and deal with the logistics of road closures, the organising of the lorries and and build points. As well being supporting the committee as the Vice Chair.

Jade Hudgell

Secretary
&
Procession Team

I joined the carnival committee in 2022, as I had always had a love for the carnival and really wanted to help where I could. I was given the role as Secretary; so I look after the minutes and note taking in the meetings. I am also on the procession team and this is my favourite role. Seeing all the happy faces and being able to support my community from start to finish of the carnival does make my heart happy.

Natalie Maloney

Committee Member

This is my first year on the committee and I'm really enjoying it! I decided to get involved as I have enjoyed carnival day since I was a little girl. It's nice to be involved with an event that has brought the community together for years.
